Veratad Technologies CEO Named 2021 NJBIZ Award Honoree
John E. Ahrens, CEO of Veratad Technologies, a global provider of age and identity verification solutions, has been named a 2021 NJBIZ Digi-Tech Innovators Award honoree.
The Digi-Tech Innovators Awards are an annual event held by NJBIZ to recognize members of the New Jersey business community who have demonstrated excellence in technology leadership. This year’s group of honorees includes executives who represent a variety of industries, including real estate, healthcare and technology, and who have introduced significant advances in the technological and digital space at their organizations.
Ahrens and other award recipients were honored in a virtual awards presentation which took place on April 22, 2021. They are also featured in an event publication inserted in the print issue of NJBIZ’s weekly newspaper.

Ahrens’s interest in the world of technology and online transactions led him to co-found Veratad Technologies in 2006, when he and his partners saw an opportunity to create new digital solutions for validating personal age and identity information, which was largely unheard of at the time.
